Adopt-A-Cop

Adopt-A-Cop is great ministry here at Verdigris Assembly. The goal of this ministry is simple but very powerful, it is prayer. Also we love to encourage and give support to our fellow city official leaders. Our background comes from 1Timothy 2:1-3 “The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.”

We Volunteer to pray for an officer/employee for a period of six months. However, many of our prayer partner volunteers have been praying for the same officer for several years.
